Project Infrastructure and Risk Management

The purpose of this assignment is to develop a risk management plan and finalize the risk analysis. This content will become part of the final project management plan submitted in Topic 8. All projects face a certain amount of risk. Project risk management is concerned with identifying and responding appropriately to risks that can impact the project. Projects often require resources (people, hardware, software, etc.) that are outside the organization. Procurement management makes certain that these resources are acquired properly. Using the case study selected for the previous assignments, review either the "Husky Air – Pilot Angels" or the "The Martial Arts Academy – School Management System" extended case study content at the end of Chapters 4 and 7 in the textbook. Using the guidelines presented in the textbook, create the following deliverables. Define the project infrastructure using steps 1-6 at the end of Chapter 4. Complete "Deliverable: The Risk Management Plan" from Chapter 7. While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
