The first draft of the annotated bibliography will include eight sources discovered by the student in journal articles, books, or reputable business magazines and will cover the seminal research of change management theory, including scientific management, organizational development, and Lewin’s unfreeze-change-freeze model, and modern change models, such as Kotter’s 8-step model of change. The Annotated Bibliography Draft is due at the end of session two before Sunday at midnight. It will be returned to the student, and corrections will be made and additional sources added for the final version (this is 30% of the grade on this assignment, but this is used in the final version in order to get the total 100%, so spend time getting it right here). Use this Annotated Bibliography Download Annotated Bibliographyas an example. Access two academic journal articles (via Rickman Library>Google Scholar with SWU Full-Text) (or original publications) relating to each of the following change theories/models (eight total articles): Scientific management (Taylor), Organizational development (Blake and Mouton), Three stage theory of change (Lewin), 8-step model of change (Kotter). Note: The summary of each article should make it obvious to the reader which of the theories or models it references. The eight articles will be alphabetized, not sorted by theory or model. Note: An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to academic sources to which an annotation has been added. An annotation is a brief description and evaluation of each source. Upon reviewing an annotated bibliography, a reader would be able to access the source, having been provided with a complete, APA-formatted reference, and know the relevance of the source to the topic (in this course, organizational change management). An annotated bibliography is developed in this course for the purpose of assisting the students with the production of a well-written final project that will be added to their portfolio.
